Planning and consulting on campus issues and trends; Chancellor's liaison to the Office of the Board of Trustees.
James Schroeder
Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement
Office of the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement is responsible for coordinating the development efforts of the colleges, schools, and other campus units and assisting the University of Illinois Foundation in carrying out its fund-raising mission for the University as a whole.

Executive Director of Facilities and Services
Chief operational officer for the campus. Responsibilities include maintaining the physical campus, overseeing new construction and remodeling, critical incident management, mailing services, parking services, vehicle leasing and maintenance, and waste management

Chief law enforcement officer for the campus, with overall resonsibility for advising the campus on short and long range emergency plans and priorities, and developing and directing security on campus.

Responsible for all affirmative action policies and procedures; provides training to faculty, staff, and students and outreach to the community.

Responsible for planning, budgeting, making all arrangements for major campus events, including Commencement.
